DIY > Bread Crumbs

Stop throwing away those hard ends of the bread loaf! Perfect opportunity  to make your own bread crumbs.

  1. Using a blender or food processor, grind up the bread into crumbs.
  2. Heat oven to 200 degrees and place crumbs on a baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour (moving crumbs every 15 min)
  3. Now your crumbs are toasted! COOL down and place in a container! I also added basil to my crumbs for extra flavor, other spices can also be added.

TACO TUESDAY

I made my first *Chicken* tacos the other night. I usually would make them with ground turkey, but I wanted to try something new and delicious. Well I shredded the life out of the chicken and it turned out phenomenal! I really didn’t realize that cooking involves intricate detail, and when detailed right your dish turns out amazing. I also warmed up the tortillas in the oven, which normally I wouldn’t have wasted the time. Well it was worth the 10 minutes! So in the future when you are cooking, go the extra mile and you won’t regret it!

Kicking off Spring Break w/ Frosting…

I Used to be cool…once. Now I’m just trying to entertain my 3.5 year old! So to kick off her spring break we baked cupcakes on Sunday with some Spring frosting that she picked out at the store a few weeks back. We saved it for a special occasion! and What better than a Sunday to bake cupcakes! We also added some cute holders and signs that I got on clearance after Valentines Day. Natalia couldn’t believe how beautiful the cupcakes were haha innocence…
